Shorties children's wear store was opened in 2004 in Newtown, Sydney by Celia Morris, owner and designer of Dragstar Clothing, to fill a need in the market for fashionable, original and retro inspired clothing and toys for newborns and children up to seven years old.

Shorties supports handmade and handcrafted products made in small runs by local designers. We also stock previously unseen children's fashion labels which mix in with one of a kind handknits and original tops, skirts and dresses made in bold and vintage prints. Shorties do not stock logo oriented brands, mass produced and cheap imported labels.

With new products arriving weekly it is always worth popping in to our Newtown store. If you can't get in we can post items Australia wide if you call our Newtown Store or email us.
